Order Regarding Handling and Disposition of Information, In re Carter W. Page, Nos. 16-1182, 17-52, 17-375, 17-679, GID.C.00265 (FISA Ct. Jan. 7, 2020) (Boasberg, J.)
The Court reports that the government, in view of its material misstatements and omissions, has concluded that two of the Court’s authorizations in respect to Carter W. Page, Nos. 17-375 and 17-679, were not valid. The government does not take that position for two similar authorizations, Nos. 16-1182 and 17-52. The Court orders that the government shall make a written submission by Jan. 30, 2020, detailing steps taken to restrict access to these dockets in unminimized form or any other form, present a timetable for completing such steps, provide explanations of the government’s further review of the OIG report, including retention and access to such information, and thereafter explain why retention and any disclosure or access comports with 50 U.S.C. §§ 1801(h)(1) & 1809(a)(2).
