Opinion and Order, In re Application of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for an Order Requiring Production of Tangible Things

Granting the motion of the plaintiffs in _Jewel v. NSA_ and _First Unitarian Church v. NSA_ for leave to correct the record, and ordering the government to make a filing explaining its failure to notify FISC of the March 10, 2014 preservation orders in _Jewel_ and _First Unitarian_ and the plaintiffs’ understanding of the scope of the orders, upon learning that counsel considered them relevant to the §215 telephony metadata at issue in FISC’s Feb. 25 Opinion and Order (which had denied extended preservation of §215 records for litigation purposes).
